Kenji is a Corgi, built like a biscuit and braver than most twice the size. Kenji keeps a chip of blue tile from beneath the flying den tucked away and treats it like evidence in a trial nobody scheduled. When Kenji sits down anywhere near the cracked freeway loop, conversation reorganises itself politely around them. Pups who watch Kenji too long sometimes get the feeling that Earth is not finished answering.
